What many people don’t realise is that, with a bit of luck, beavers can also be spotted in urban areas. Be on the lookout for these animals on our guided tour from Sursee to Nottwil along the Lake Sempach. The hike is 8 km long, accessible all year round and suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. With children the tour takes approximately three hours.

Both the starting point and end point of the hike are located directly next to the train stations in Sursee and Nottwil. Travelling by public transport is therefore highly recommended.

Tip: Pack some cervelat sausages and campfire bread. There are plenty of barbecue areas along the shores of Lake Sempach.
